Keith Hopkin’s comment on the previous post sent me looking for another gem. Pictured is the cabins at the Couchiching Inn, near Orillia.
 
Get this description, from the Ontario Motor League 1930-31 Road Book, regarding Muskoka accommodation:

“The scores of resorts in this district run the gamut from the humble farm home near the water where the good wife ekes out the scanty cash supply by keeping summer boarders with the inevitable ‘boating and bathing’, on up through varying degrees of luxury to the palatial hotel where one is presumed to dress for dinner and a bath goes with one’s room.”
