Introducing Steam Through Port Credit

February 23, 2023

Moments ago, we “opened the cart” for pre-orders of the proposed 192-page hardcover Steam Through Port Credit. I’ve created a new video for you, which I suggest you watch before placing a pre-order for the book:

Our introductory video (above) presents an overview of the scope of Steam Through Port Credit.

As mentioned yesterday, there is a threshold in place to determine whether or not Steam Through Port Credit is a “go”. I have set this threshold after receiving firm quotes from the printer and the bindery, assessing Canada Post shipping charges, and factoring in design costs and time invested. A thermometer icon on the webpage will show progress (I will manually update that several times per day).

Normally, we accompany a pre-publication offer with special prices on existing stock. With a threshold in place for Steam Through Port Credit, we will not be making that offer at this time. However, we will submit that offer to buyers just prior to the new book being shipped.

This posting is part of the background for the Steam Through Port Credit hardcover (click on the book title to go to its separate page, where you may order a copy).
