Speed Graphics and Steam 1957! video trailer

After publishing Steam Scenes of Stratford (which received a favourable reception) in May 2017, followed by a trip to the British Isles, I contemplated a new direction in the late summer of 2017. This would turn out to be the start of the Speed Graphics and Steam series of hardcovers.

The debut volume would be Speed Graphics and Steam 1957!, a project I had contemplated for at least 20 years. The cover picture on this volume by Don Wood had ignited my desire (in the early 1980s) to turn back the clock somehow, through some medium, to the 1950s railway steam era in Ontario.

This video trailer explains the vehicle by which we travel back to the summer of 1957 through the Speed Graphic camera lenses of three talented photographers. Namely John Rehor, Don Wood, and Herb Harwood. The Speed Graphics and Steam 1957! volume was released in May 2018:
