My railway book readers are a curious lot when it comes to technical details
Over the years, we’ve received a lot of favourable comments whenever we illuminate the process behind creating limited-edition, hardcover books.
Today, I’ve put together a video with footage from Beck Bindery in Campbellford. By my request, John Beck and Karen Beck shot these scenes (still and moving images) while Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 was going through production.
This glimpse, combined with our documented visits to Ampersand Printing in Guelph, will give you a new appreciation for those Canadian Branchline titles on your bookshelf!
