We’ll begin taking 2022 calendar pre-orders on Sunday

A couple of days ago, I mentioned that we’d be opening a pre-publication offer for our 2022 Canadian Branchline wall calendar today. Due to driving number two son to university this Friday, we’ve decided to move the opening of the offer to Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. E.D.T.

Sometime ago I learned it was “bad luck” to look through a calendar before the actual months roll around. In that regard, I won’t disgrace that adage by displaying the 13 pictures which will grace your 2022 Canadian Branchline wall calendar, but one of them appears on the cover!

We’re going to take online pre-orders for the 2022 Canadian Branchline wall calendar at a special price over a six-day stretch

That will begin this Sunday, September 5, and will expire at one minute before midnight on Friday, September 10. There will be two low all-inclusive prices according to destination (Canada or International) and whether you’d be happy to wait to have your calendar(s) shipped with Speed Graphics and Steam 1959! in November (in which case the prices will be lower still).

When the pre-orders have been received and the online offer closed, we’ll advise Ampersand Printing of the quantity we’ll need. As for distribution, we’ll be ready to send out calendars (without Speed Graphics and Steam 1959!) in early October. Otherwise, calendars and the new hardcover will ship together in November.

A day or so before the online launch for the calendar pre-orders, I’ll send out an email advising of the date getting closer.
