Distribution of SG&S1958!v2 and 2020 calendar

This is me reading the first copy of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2—and it will soon be YOU!

Your copies of the limited-edition Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 and our 2020 Canadian Branchline calendar will arrive shortly! We began wide scale distribution of these new publications this past Friday.

Shipping logistics for Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol.2 and the 2020 Canadian Branchline calendar

All calendars NOT accompanying book shipments went out by letter mail on Friday, November 22. Watch for yours soon (there is no tracking information by letter mail).

Book shipments (with or without calendars) begin going out today (Monday, November 25). Altogether, we expect distribution of all pre-orders to take less than two weeks.

"How will I know when my book is on the way?"

You will receive a Canada Post notice by email (provided you have supplied us with an email address with your order) announcing when your order has been added to a shipping manifest. That means it’s going out THAT DAY. If you ordered online, PayPal will also send you a shipping notice.

If you ordered one or more calendars in addition to one or more books, they are going in the same shipment.

"Will there be any copies of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 remaining after distribution?"

Normally, we receive "overs" from the bindery, but this time we did not. We received 100 fewer copies of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 than we did of the preceding volume 1. The printing plates have already been destroyed, so there is no second print run coming.

We know you're pleased you pre-ordered your volume, but on the off-chance you'd like an extra book for a Christmas gift, at the moment you can still acquire a copy of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 here.

"What about stocks of the 2020 Canadian Branchline calendar?"

With the late release of this gem, we elected to print only 500 copies. They are available while supplies last at 2020 Canadian Branchline calendar.

And don't forget your exclusive access to colour movie footage of steam operations around Palmerston in 1956!

We're sending a letter with instructions as to how to access the video with shipments of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2.
