Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 3 is heading to the bindery

An update for you on the status of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 3.

Dion Anderson, the press operator at Ampersand Printing, sent along some views last week of the “text” pages (i.e. the interior 192 pages in twelve “signatures”) as they came off the press. Consider them a “sneak preview” of the book’s content!

Those pictures were taken on the evening of December 3 (i.e. last Thursday). Since then, the job has finished at the printer and is on the way to Beck Bindery in Campbellford, Ontario.

As the job proceeds at the bindery, I’ll have the good folks there take some pictures for me to share with you.

Once again, thank you for your patience!

And if you’re still on the fence for Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 3, keep in mind we’re going with a “short” print run (only 700 copies). By the time the finished volumes are shipped, with just the orders on hand, there will be fewer than 100 remaining for all time!

Concerning our 2021 Canadian Branchline wall calendar (also in short supply, with fewer than 50 copies remaining), we will have all of those on the way to readers before the year is out (most are already distributed), whether or not they are shipped with your copy of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 3 or shipped separately ahead of time.
