The latest prices and stocks as of January 5, 2025
Here are the updated prices and book stocks remaining as we enter the year 2025. All copies previously reserved for mail orders have been freed up. These are the bottom-line totals remaining. Some prices have dropped, some have gone up, some have stayed the same.
What's new in terms of scarcity?
The Steam Scenes of Northern Ontario title is now out of print.
The two mint copies (signed for other readers) of Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 are still on hand, reduced further in price.
With the exception of three titles, each publication has ten or fewer copies remaining.
What's the lowdown on Substack?
I have just started to produce new content for my Canadian Branchline Substack publication this past week. I will not go full throttle on this for another few days, while the book backlog is cleared out.
Only the delivery mechanism has changed, from print books to digital articles (and other media). If a railway topic interests me and I have sufficient research material and photographs on hand, you can be sure I will write about it!
Some Substack posts (such as this one) will be free of charge to all subscribers (which means you can read the full post in your email inbox). Others will be for paying subscribers (such as the piece on Northern 6218 at Allandale the other day). But previews are always offered for non-paying subscribers.
Payment and delivery options
As usual, for any Canadian readers wishing to remit funds by Interact e-transfer, kindly use the weekly posted prices as a worksheet and contact me (by email) for a shipping quote. Then we’ll generate a total for monies owed and you can remit the funds while I package your publications for shipment.
For those readers wishing to remit funds by cheque/check, kindly contact me by email, indicating the titles you wish to receive, and I will set them aside pending arrival of your payment in the mail.
This week’s prices and stocks remaining
These are the remaining books; grab what you can. Whatever is still on hand next week, I'll put up another post to that effect. Each of the publication titles below is a clickable link, so for your convenience click on that link to go immediately to the page where you may place your order with a PayPal button:
