Update on reduced prices and quantities
Here are further reductions in quantities and prices of each title still in stock. All but two of the publications have reduced in price since last week. Many of these titles are now a tiny fraction of their original prices. Buy them now to be safe, or take your chances as time goes on!
Our endangered title Steam Through Port Credit is down to only TWO COPIES. The next most scarce is Speed Graphics and Steam 1958! vol. 2 with just eleven copies remaining.
The Canada Post general strike
The Canada Post strike continues. It could go on past Christmas. Who knows, at this point? But the inventory liquidation will happen by December 31 regardless. I urge you not to hold out for this strike to end, and lose your chance to get a few books before they disappear. Yes, shipping charges via UPS or Purator are a bit more. But the book prices are so low now that I'm sure you can justify the outlay.
If you had ordered something three weeks ago or more and not received it, it's in the Canada Post system. It's not moving, but in a secure location. As soon as packages start moving again, it will be on its way to you.
Donations
With these book prices so low, and with this being the last opportunity for anyone to acquire any, I encourage all readers to consider buying books at the substantial discounts offered, and donate them to libraries, clubs, archives, fellow railway enthusiasts, etc.
Ordering alternatives aside from PayPal
As usual, for any Canadian readers wishing to remit funds by Interact e-transfer, kindly use the weekly posted prices as a worksheet and contact me (by email) for a shipping quote. Then we’ll generate a total for monies owed (with GST) and you can remit the funds while I package your publications for shipment.
For those readers wishing to remit funds by cheque/check, kindly contact me by email, indicating the titles you wish to receive, and I will set them aside pending arrival of your payment in the mail (don't send anything until the Canada Post strike ends).
This week’s prices and stocks remaining
These are the prices for all remaining publications, which are reduced from prices of the recent past. There will be four more price reductions, on a weekly basis, until Sunday, December 29, 2024. Below follows this week’s roster of prices and quantities remaining. Each of the publication titles is a clickable link, so for your convenience click on that link to go immediately to the page where you may place your order with a PayPal button:
